In Artist, Medium, Scale, Item, I was interested in reflecting categorisation in art history, and revealing a certain inanity to it by rendering it in an absurd way.

The different works consist of collages of photographic prints, each a scaled reproduction of an actual painting. I thoroughly investigated all of the one painter's body of work —  only concentrating on 17th century painters — to extract solely the compositions depicting one particular object, chosen at random. The different items were then isolated from the rest of the image to only leave them as visible.
